The first time I can remember proclaiming my love for pickles I was nine years old.  Now I am most certainly sure that I loved them even before then because my whole family are pickle lovers and the snack food of choice for me as a baby were baby gherkins.  But back to being nine.  I decided that there should be a pickle juice drink.  It was obviously just pickle juice to many but to me it was a Pickle Delight.  For the drink you could only use crushed ice.  Top it off with a couple of dill pickle chips and you are set to enjoy the tastiest pickle concoction ever.

Now I know many people might not share my enthusiasm for pickles, and that is okay.  As long as you enjoy a pickle here and there, I have no beef with you.  Now if you were to tell me you didn’t like pickles at all, I would think you were definitely a loon.  Anyways, I have been making pickles at home for the past couple of years from our homegrown cucumbers and let me tell you, they are even better than any store bought pickle.  I found an infographic with the very recipe I have been using.  So if you want to make your own delicious pickles, you can too!
